President

Dan felt compelled to continue the Gayton legacy after his Father’s death and took over the role as President in 2006. With his team, he will continue to support and provide the excellent products and services that CEB is known for. Dan has a degree in Finance from The University of Iowa. Dan lives in the suburbs of Chicago with his wife Melanie and their 3 children.

Melanie Gayton Vice President

Melanie joined CEB in 2011, taking over the role of Vice President in charge of Sales Support and Marketing. Melanie enjoys continuing the family legacy; feeling privileged to be a part of the great history that Chicago Expansion Bolt is known for. Melanie grew up in the town the original patent holder, Ralph S. Pierce, lived in. She played in a park that was donated by Ralph’s wife as a memorial to her late husband. She hopes that one day one of her Father in Laws only grandsons will continue the tradition and join the family business. Melanie has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Speech Pathology from Saint Louis University.
